Amy Fish

Author, Speaker & Coffee Spiller

Amy Fish writes non-fiction, creatively.

Amy Fish writes about making the world a better place.

Her stories are all true, and most of them are funny.

I really enjoyed how Amy shared different scenarios, as well as the skills that go into getting what you want (while still being nice!) It was a terrific program.

One in Six Million

Maria was eight months old in 1942 when a childless couple found her, wrapped in a blanket, at the side of a road near Krosno, Poland. A note pinned to the blanket stated only her first name and her date of birth. The couple picked up Maria and raised her, but she grew up longing for identity and connection. Who was she, and what had happened to her family?

A tale of unexpected coincidences, astonishing revelations, and more than a little luck, One in Six Million is an amazing story of lost — and found — identity.

You were a delight to listen to last night during the Needham Hadassah zoom meeting. I was totally impressed by your confidence. I often know the right way to complain but my anger sometimes gets the best of me. I also admire the way you encourage your children to be independent. What you say is so right on target but harder to implement in person. The other thing I have to tell you that your spirit, positivity and enthusiasm was so refreshing.
